Snow Camp 2007!

Worship team deadline nears

Hi all,
In the last few days I have gotten some inquiries from people who want to be considered for the worship team next year. I am needing to set a hard deadline so auditions can be scheduled and decisions made. So please be aware that the deadline for having your application filled out and in my hands is 11pm Tuesday, June 30. Any received after than time will be too late. So if you or someone you know is interested, now is the time to speak up. Thanks, and enjoy all the grad parties………bob

How to know for sure

SNOW CAMP 2009 – Refuge Retro

 

Here are the final details on Snow Camp Weekend.  Everyone needs to gather at the Refuge bldg by 5pm Friday, Jan 9.  Split your ‘luggage’ between those things you want with you as soon as you get to the camp (don’t forget your roller blades!) and the rest.  Reason: we can bring some stuff on the bus, and the rest will come by truck later that night.

Remember – we will be stopping on the way for some fastfood dinner, so you don’t have to eat before leaving. 

Things you might wish to bring: sleeping bag or blankets/pillow, warm clothes, some spending cash, bible, notebook, pen, warm clothes, that suitcase full of make-up and hair styling stuff, boots?, roller blades, etc.

We will be returning between 3 and 4pm on Sunday, Jan 11.  Everyone can call home when we get close so your folks don’t have to wait in the parking lot for an hour before we get there.

Bored over Break?

Then come to the youth group building from 2pm-5pm Mon. through Fri. this week! Bring your friends or meet up with some there. Bring your own games or have a Mario Cart tournament.

(For some people “cough Michael cough” the building is open everyday from 2-5 NOT Monday at 2 till Friday at 5 even though that would be pretty sweet.)

F.L.R. Reunion!

On Sunday Dec. 28th Flying Lama Regiment aka the old praise band will be playing at youth group!!! so come and catch up with the guys and hear some awesome music! (Adam,Nate, Chris and Sam)
